Scheduler let you start and stop predefined tasks automatically at preset time. You an add as many tasks to the task list as you can. You can check system event log to see scheduled task activities.

 

Task List

All current tasks are listed in the task list panel. To remove a task, select it from list and click on Remove button. If you click Remove button without selecting any task, the first one in the list which is selected by default will be removed.

 

Create a new task

To create a new task, please follow the steps below:

 

STEP 1: Select a Task

Choose a task to do. There are three tasks available, which are Record video, Arm cameras, Arm system and Quit XtraSense.

 

Record Video :

Start and stop recoding video on selected cameras according to specified time period

Arm Camera(s) :

Arm and disarm cameras according to the start and stop time.

Arm System :

Arm and disarm system (only affect armed cameras and enabled sensors).  When system is disarmed, motion detect and sensor monitoring will be paused (even if the camera status is 'armed'. When system is armed, all armed cameras and enabled sensors will resume working as per normal. Those disarmed cameras or disabled sensors will remain disarmed/disabled.

Quit XtraSense :

This command will shut down XtraSense.

 

STEP 2: Set start and stop time

You need to specify a start and a stop time for the task. The stop time has no effect when task Quit XtraSense is selected.

 

STEP 3: Select camera(s)

Specify the camera(s) involved in the task.

 

STEP 4: When to do

Decide how often the selected task should be performed. The task will be repeated on every selected day(s) of the week.

 

Finally, click on Append button to append it to task list.

 

Update a task

To update existing tasks, click on any task in the list to load its contents. You can then change the start and stop time, date or add/remove cameras. Click on Update button when you are done. If the task is running when you update it, the changes will take effect when next time it runs.
