Multiple channel monitoring

You may setup up to 16 cameras at same time. There are no special requirements on camera. You can use USB webcam, network IP camera  for fast startup or use night vision camera plus video capture card to do 24 hour surveillance. As long as your Windows 2000/XP can recognize them, XtraSense can use them!

Multiple external sensor support

XtraSense can connect up to 8 sensor and 1 external control through parallel port. You can even arm and disarm system through external device.

Dual mode motion detection

Two modes of motion detection available: Multi-spot and Multi-angle. Multi-angle mode is used to configure two or more cameras to monitor same area from different angles. Alarm will not be triggered unless motion is detected on all cameras. This helps to reduce false alarm. While Multi-spot will configure cameras to monitor different areas independently. Motion detection on any of the cameras will trigger alarm.

Flexible remote view and remote control

Support remote control through email and TCP port (Pro version only). You can also have all cameras video frames uploaded to a FTP server at regular interval. The benefit of using FTP and email is that even if your computer is behind a firewall you will still be able to access it.

Various alarm notification

XtraSense provides various alarm notification methods. You can choose to upload picture to remote server, send SMS notification to mobile phone, playback a voice alarm, output alarm to parallel port to trigger external device and email captured screen to you.

Flexible external sensor integration

XtraSense does not need any additional hardware to interface with external sensors. All it requires is your computer's parallel port. You can use parallel port's data pins to detect external sensor status.
