Importing existing video files

Copy video files to system video folder: Copy all video files from source folder to XmediaStorm's image folder. By default it should be "C:\Program Files\XmediaStudio\XmediaStorm\Image". Copy and recompress files: Copy and recompress video files using user specified codec. For example, if you have uncompressed AVI to import, you can choose to import as MPEG4. Don't copy files: Generate a record of file size, dimension, video length, date&time, location and other details. Use 3th second screen capture as preview thumbnail: By default, XmediaStorm will capture the 3th second frame of current video clip to save as preview thumbnail in library. You can always change the thumbnail by using 'Update Thumbnail' button later. Click 'Next' to continue |

Click 'Add' button to add multiple pictures into importing list.
A File Selection dialog will pop up after you click 'Add'. Open the removable drive or folder containing the video files. To select multiple items, press and hold "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and left click mouse to choose items. If you want to select all items under current folder, simply press "Ctrl" + "A" (CtrlA). Click 'Ok' to add all selected items to the Import list. To remove an item from list, select the item and click button 'Remove'. Or, you can click button 'Clear' to empty the list. Click 'Next' to start importing |

DONE
Once started, the importing progress will be displayed on screen. Wait until the 'Job done at ...' appears and click 'Exit' button. All your imported video will be put into 'INBOX' by default. |
